Students Receive Valuable Training from Employees in Oscaso

On April 12, ArvinMeritor Chairman, CEO and President
Chip McClure visited the CVS Osasco, Brazil facility to see the Formare
Project, which supports 20 students from low-income families who are
14-16 years old and in their third year of high school. Osasco employees
act as voluntary educators, providing 10 months of technical training
and hands-on experience for the students, who want to become production
mechanics and machine operators. They learn all about materials and
processes, measuring instruments, mechanical drawing, manufacturing
equipment, electromechanical automation and technology mounting.
