Fumagalli Awards Dinner Honors Community

The Fumagalli Wheels, Limeira, Brazil facility recently celebrated its 60th anniversary with an awards dinner at the Nosso Clube ballroom. The event, which also included music, dancing and entertainment, honored local business members, officials, students, community volunteers, sports and music celebrities and others. Wheels Vice President and General Manager Don Polk provided the opening speech which summarized this year’s award theme: Joy in the lives of everyone. Children from the Aldeia Cidadania organization performed songs and dances. The event was co-sponsored by the Aldeia Movimento Pró-Cultura, a group dedicated to cultural activities, and the Arvore da Vida (Tree of Life) project. Both groups are supported by ArvinMeritor.
